Senior Pastor
Pastor Michael Szymanski
Michael Szymanski is the Senior Pastor of New Life. He is a graduate of Living Word Training Center in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Before stepping into his role as Senior Pastor, he served as Associate Pastor, Youth Pastor, and Elder. Pastor Michael enjoys helping people from all walks of life experience God's rich and powerful presence. Sharing the harmonious and profound working of God's Word and Spirit together is something that brings great joy to Michael's heart--knowing that it gives God great joy, too!​
Pastor Michael is a Delaware native. He and his wife Kathy have been married for 33 years and have 3 grown children. He enjoys boating, spending time with his family and currently resides in New Castle, Delaware.

Jim Brazell
Jim Brazell serves as an Elder at New Life Church, is a member of the Worship Team, and leads the ministry team serving at the Sunday Breakfast Mission in Wilmington. He and his wife, Nilda, have been part of the New Life family since 1983.
Jim is passionate about serving the body of Christ and reaching those who do not yet know Him. Through worship, outreach, and ministry, he seeks to share God's love and help others grow in their faith.
Jim considers New Life a "home away from home," where he has built lasting friendships and experienced the joy of being part of God's family. He and Nilda are grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside their church family and make a difference in their community.

Rose Coletta
Rose Coletta serves as an Elder at New Life Church and co-leads the Worship Team alongside her husband, Allan. She has been a faithful part of the New Life family since 1984, using her gifts to lead others into God's presence through worship and ministry.
Rose has served in development roles with United Way and Easter Seals and currently serves in the church office. She is passionate about worship, Bible study, and encouraging others in their walk with Christ.
Rose and Allan live in Bear, Delaware, and are blessed with their daughter, Alexandra. In her free time, Rose enjoys traveling, hiking, running, hosting family gatherings, and singing and recording music.

Allan Coletta
Allan Coletta serves as an Elder at New Life Church and co-leads the Worship Team with his wife, Rose. Since joining New Life in 1984, he has been dedicated to serving through worship, leadership, and discipleship.
A chemical engineer by training, Allan spent much of his career in senior leadership roles and now provides leadership coaching and consulting. He is also a published author and contributes to leadership development through the Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME).
Allan enjoys writing and recording music, Bible study, travel, boating, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. He and Rose live in Bear, Delaware, and have one daughter, Alexandra.

Paul Szymanski
Paul Szymanski has been part of New Life Church his entire life and currently serves as an elder and member of the worship team.
Over the years, he has also served as a young adults and youth leader and led the young adults music band. Paul is a graduate of Texas Bible Institute. He enjoys spending time outdoors, fitness, theology, and history. In 2025, he married his wife Gracy, and now they are expecting their first child. Together they live in Newark, Delaware. Through his ministry and service, Paul is passionate about helping people grow deeper in their walk with Christ.

Healing Ministry
Freida And Bob Holland
Freida and Bob Holland have been faithful members of New Life Church since 1982. For more than 35 years, they have led and overseen a Life Group, helping people grow in their faith and build meaningful relationships within the church family.
Together, they also lead the Prayer and Healing Ministry, where they are passionate about seeing lives transformed through the power, presence, and healing love of God.
Frieda and Bob consider it a great privilege and honor to serve the New Life family and walk alongside others as they grow in their relationship with Christ.
